Laa Columb Killey day in the south

Weather set fair for the fair

Vegetables, friut, cakes, art, crafts, music and sports - just some of the attractions on offer at Laa Columb Killey in the south of the Island today.

The fair has been held in Arbory for over 100 years.

There will be a procession from the Parish Hall in Ballabeg at 2.45pm to the venue - the field opposite Arbory School.

Chairman of Laa Columb Killey Mike Berry is delighted the weather looks good after a run of bad luck and says one of the highlights is the famous afternoon tea.

Laa Columb Killey officially opens at three o'clock - there is an entry fee of £2 which includes the programme - tickets for the teas can be bought at the gate and cost £5 for adults and £2 for children.
