Treasury minister questioned about omission of energy transition costs in Budget
The treasury minister says it is disappointing government doesn't know the cost of the proposed Cair Vie onshore windfarm.
Chris Thomas was asked why the cost of the Island's energy transition hadn't been included in this year's Budget.
In June last year, the chair of Manx Utilities told the House of Keys that the exact cost wouldn't be known until after a tender process, but the project is expected to cost in the region of £40 million.
