Ladies in Lycra complete Island leg

Charity cycling trip makes memories

A group of intrepid 'ladies in lycra' have completed the Isle of Man leg of their epic quest.

It’s part of a 450 mile tour of the British Isles to raise funds and awareness of the Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK.

All the stRIDE cyclists, who hail from various parts of England, have family members who've suffered with the conditions.

Organiser Virgina Bailey, from Shrewsbury, and Sophie Christie says the charity trek received an authentic warm Manx welcome.
