Last chance to register for Christmas tree recycling scheme

Old trees to be turned into compost in aid of Island's hospice

It's your last chance to register for a Christmas tree recycling scheme in aid of the Island's hospice.

Thirty volunteers from Isle of Man Post Office will collect the trees in postal vans before they're shredded by Tel's Ltd and turned into compost by Ballaneven Compost.

The service is provided for a small donation in aid of Hospice Isle of Man.

Trees will be collected on Sunday, but registrations have to be in by midday today.

You can sign up through the Hospice's website.
