Government to review costly policy in the Summer
Lateral flow testing kits for Covid-19 will remain free-of-charge on the Isle of Man until June, at least.
Earlier this year it was revealed government had spent almost £6million on the home testing kits since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan says the policy will be reviewed in the Summer:
From 1 April, when the Isle of Man moves to an 'endemic' approach to Covid-19, people will still be encouraged to self-test if displaying symptoms of coronavirus.
Staff and patients will also still be required to take an LFD test before visiting any health and care settings on the Island.
