The latest meeting of the Island's Blood Cancer Support Group takes place this week.
The group was set up several years ago to help those on the Island who may be dealing with lymphoma, myeloma or leukaemia.
Regional Development Manager for Lymphoma Action, Karen Bonell says she realised several years ago that there was a desperate need for the group on the Island and they always try and have a guest speaker.
The meeting is 5.30pm on Wednesday evening at the Lisa Lowe Centre close to the vehicle testing centre in Douglas.
