No communication after petition was lodged says Pinson
The owner of Laxey Beach Café has claimed she’s heard nothing from commissioners after lodging a petition to stop her benches being removed.
More than 5,000 signatures were collected after the local authority said it wanted to enhance the facilities at the public shelter on the promenade.
The café claimed it was told to remove its seating and outdoor planters and handed the petition in, opposing this, on 8 August.
