Laxey landslip to be raised in Keys

Sixteen questions for oral answer today

The sex education investigation, cancelled flights and the homeless are among the subjects for the 16 questions for oral answer in the House of Keys later this morning. (Tuesday, 28 March)

Garff member Daphne Caine asks about the ongoing slippage problems at Laxey with another question about people with houses adjoining development sites on unstable land.

Jason Moorhouse inquires as to whether the sex education investigation will be completed in accordance with the published timetable Tynwald members have more information on that timetable than the public and also cancelled flights earlier this month.

He also raises the homeless persons issue, and wants information over the last four years on children who are home-educated.

David Ashford raises energy self sufficiency while Mr Crookall’s brows are furrowed over the proposed STEM science technology engineering and mathematics block at QE2.

Meanwhile today, Members of the Legislative Council will vote on whether a Private Members Bill can be permitted to proceed.

It's to do with aspects of fertilisation, embryology and surrogacy and has been put forward by Miss Tanya August-Hanson.
