The development manager for Douglas Development Partnership says he's always looking for new ways to keep the capital's town centre fun and enjoyable.
Chris Pycroft says the closure of Jessops and the financial issues that HMV now has show traditional shops aren't as popular as they once were.
Mr Pycroft says to keep people coming to Douglas town centre there's now an emphasis on leisure-type businesses, such as cafes, bars and restaurants.
He outlines the plans he has for the capital in the coming months:
Students want more education on Manx politics ahead of election
'Ongoing fire incident' in the Union Mills area
Farmers union wants answers
Is the Bishop's vote saga really over?
