Christian Aid hoping to assist those caught in ongoing crisis
A letter writing campaign's underway in a bid to provide safe haven for Afghan refugees on the Isle of Man.
They're being sent to local politicians urging them to help those affected by the crisis in Afghanistan.
Christian Aid co-ordinator Louise Whitelegg is one of those behind the project.
She says there's a lot of support for the campaign despite some resistance to the issue from people online and in the media:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
Ramsey Commissioners to spend more than £8k on deckchairs and storage unit
