The LibVan party says it’s hoping to announce candidates for two House of Keys by-elections next week.
The party is to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting on Thursday March, 26 starting at 7pm in the Douglas Old Friend’s Association on Finch Road in the capital.
LibVan says it’s hoping to members will approve candidates for the Douglas North and Douglas South polls sparked by the elevation of Bill Henderson and David Cretney to the Legislative Council.
Party Chairman Roy Redmayne says the meeting is open to party members and will also hammer out policy principles which will form the basis of its general election manifesto next year.
