Commissioner and deputy left citing financial and staffing struggles
A political party has expressed concerns following the resignation of the Island's information commissioner and his deputy.
Iain McDonald made the announcement in June citing insufficient financial and staffing resources as the reason.
A month later, in July, Nicola Whiting announced her plans to leave the office after 17 years.
Paul Weatherall from Liberal Vannin says it's a concern because the office plays an important role for the Island:
Sailings cancelled due to predicted gales
Have your say on the future of the Island's plantations
Warning for 'disorderly' parents attending schools
Yellow weather warning for gale force winds
