Safely towed to harbour
Douglas lifeboat was launched today (Thurs Sep 27) to help a motor boat whose engine had failed.
The call out came just before 8am.
The 10 metre vessel with a crew of two had set out around 7am on fishing trip when she suffered a blocked fuel line while around a mile off Onchan Head.
The "Marine Engineer" was launched and quickly located the vessel.
Having confirmed there were no injuries, she was towed back to Battery Pier where members of Douglas Coastguard were waiting to help.
