Tower of Refuge raises awareness
The Tower of Refuge and other landmarks will light up red tomorrow, to raise awareness of a rare life-limiting illness a local girl has.
Three-year-old Levi-Rose Watterson has Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which, among things, can cause spontaneous organ and arterial rupture and extreme hypermobility.
There is currently no treatment or cure for VEDS, which affects 220 people in the British Isles.
Her Mum, Emma Watterson, says it's important for more people to know what the illness is:
Local mobile catering company Filbey's to call it a day
Ramsey Rocks event cancelled
MWT plans to plant almost 10,000 trees
Duck off: Chinese takeaway on the hunt for bigger ducks
