Co-founder of new online service aims to learn Manx in a day
The co-founder of a new language website is taking a crash course to learn Manx in a day.
Aran Jones - who is also the chief executive of SaySomethingIn.com - is hoping to have a functional conversation in the gaelic vocabulary by this evening.
He started the course at 8.30am and set to test his knowledge of the lingo with Culture Vannin's Adrian Cain at 7.30pm.
The online service initially consists of 18 30-minute lessons or word games - and Mr Jones will be learning the language live on the internet.
