Chris Thomas delivers major speech setting out government spending, after only a month in the job
The treasury minister is setting out the final budget of the Cannan administration.
Chris Thomas will unveil government spending and taxation for the upcoming financial year in unusual circumstances - given he's only been in charge of Treasury for one month.
Typically, Treasury sets out more than £1 billion worth of spending, with money going to schools, healthcare, capital projects and pay awards to name but a few.
The minister will begin February's Tynwald sitting by delivering a major speech where he's expected to substantially lift the personal tax allowance, as part of efforts to "put money back in people's pockets".
We're in the Tynwald Chamber, listening across to the speech and will bring you key announcements, highlights and reaction.
