Isle of Man achieves four weeks with no new Covid-19 cases
The Isle of Man has officially reached 'local elimination' after 28 days of no new cases of coronavirus.
The four-week milestone was hit yesterday, with the total number of cases remaining at 336, and 16 people waiting for test results.
Government has commended the Manx public for making the achievement possible by sticking to restrictions introduced during the pandemic.
However, the health minister says this doesn't mean the virus has been eradicated:
Fast-tracked legislation was designed to close 'loophole of expanding problem'
Farmers 'feeling the squeeze' more than ever says MNFU
MLC given leave to introduce bill to tackle gazumping and gazundering
