Many factors can influence rate of new cases, says public health director
Local events may have been impacting Covid-19 transmission rates on the Island.
That's the view of the director of public health.
Active cases climbed to over 2,500 last month - the most recent government figures show there are currently 1,197.
Dr Henrietta Ewart says a number of factors can cause the number of new cases to fluctuate:
