Staycation activities ‘not always appropriate’
A local naturalist says increased interest in Manx wildlife is welcome, but warns the public must be careful ‘not to spoil it’.
With options for travel restricted by COVID-19, holidaymakers have opted for ‘staycations’, with more people seeking to enjoy the Island’s natural heritage.
Tim Earl is an international wildlife tour operator and lecturer.
He says though the increased interest is positive, activities which could disturb ecosystems aren’t always appropriate:
Warning of mass exodus of Manx police officers
New school planned for Park Road brownfield site
Immigration focus of Positive Action Group meeting tonight
