Carole Laporte swimming around Isle of Arran
A local open water swimmer has completed thirteen consecutive days of swimming around the Isle of Arran in Scotland.
St Ninian's High School teacher Carole Laporte covered almost ninety kilometres in a combined time of twenty seven hours and eight minutes.
She says the toughest part was avoiding being stung by Lion's Mane jellyfish:
