Loganair to run London City flights until the end of October

Scottish airline takes on route from BA at start of September

Loganair has confirmed it will provide flights to London City for two months from the start of September.

The Glasgow-based airline is taking over the route from British Airways from Tuesday 1 September.

However, passengers will not be able to book tickets past 31 October.

Loganair says it hopes to extend this travel window "in the not too distant future".

It will operate a daily service, except on Saturdays, using a 49-seat ATR turboprop aircraft.

Customers who had previously booked with British Airways for flights after the start of September are advised to seek a refund and rebook with Loganair.
