Money used to buy new tech
A Manx-speaking nursery has been granted more than £2,300 for computers and office IT equipment by the Manx Lottery Trust.
Mooinjer Veggey runs a nursery in Ballasalla, two bilingual Manx/English pre-schools in Braddan and Ballasalla, and the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh in St John's.
Established in 1996, the organisation aims to provide children with the advantages gained by learning a second language at an early age.
Those attending are encouraged to learn through play, using songs and rhymes in Manx Gaelic and regular words and phrases in daily routines.
With the funding, the charity has been able to buy two Macbooks, an iPad and a printer.
