The Island's public sector manual workers have reached agreement with employers over their annual pay settlement.
Talks at Whitley Council agreed on a one-off lump sum payment of £400 for the workforce, subject to tax and national insurance.
The sum will be paid pro-rata for part time workers and leavers.
The pay negotiating body representing employers and employees requested the lump sum be included workers' pay packets no later than January next year.
