A local charity says drug addiction on the Island tends to start with cannabis and ecstasy.
This was one of the conclusions in a study looking into the causes of drug and alcohol addiction on the Isle Man for Motiv8 Addiction Services.
The research was carried out by the National Centre for Social Research in London and used individual experiences of drug and alcohol abuse on the Island.
