Douglas man alleged to have made threats
The case of a 62-year-old Douglas man charged with making threats against an MHK has been adjourned for a fortnight.
John James Corran of Allan Street, is charged under the Protection from Harassment Act for displaying conduct which could cause fear of violence.
He’s accused of sending threatening and abusive correspondence to Treasury Minister Eddie Teare between November 2014 and December last year.
The case has been adjourned until March 22.
Mr Corran was bailed with the condition he makes no contact with the complainant.
