Follows a complaint to UEFA during the coverage of England's Euro semi-final
A man who accused the Manx flag of being a sign of the extreme right-wing has apologised.
Matthias Meier-Moreno, who's a Swiss politician, complained to UEFA after seeing the flag in the stadium during the coverage on Saturday night.

Taking to X, he extended his sincerest apologies to the residents of the Island, adding there was never any intention to insult anyone.
Dear Isle of Men residents, I would like to extend my sincerest apologies to you. During the European Championship football game on TV, I confused your flag with a triskele (ancient Celtic symbol), which we associate with the right-wing extremist scene. (1/2)
