Case committed to higher court for sentencing
A Douglas man has admitted stealing more than £50,000 worth of electronic devices from Manx Telecom.
Thirty-six-year-old Sean Lowther, of Reginald Close, pleaded guilty to theft committed between 2021 and 2024.
The court heard Lowther was an employee at the time of his offending.
He stole 63 items, including smartphones and a smartwatch, and many of the items were sold on to others.
Lowther will be sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery; he'll next appear there on 22 May and has been bailed until that date.
