Renewed appeal for witnesses to come forward
Police have confirmed the arrest of a man on suspicion of arson following a fire at Africa House on Friday.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says upon attendance the Isle of Man Fire Service 'suspected the fire to be deliberate and that it had been burning for at least an hour prior to the multi-agency response'.
A further appeal has now been launched for anyone who was either in the area at the time or anyone with any information that may assist.
Police are appealing for anyone with any dash cam or ring doorbell footage that may have captured any people within the area at the time.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the CID department at police headquarters or alternatively provide information anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The public have been urged to avoid the grounds of the property and the property itself as it remains in a dangerous condition.
