Man hits out at driving laws

Driving regulations in the Isle of Man have been criticised by the widower of a Douglas woman who died in November 2011.

Yesterday a narrative verdict was returned at an inquest into the death of 37 year old Christina Collister.

She died of a pulmonary embolism 16 days after being hit by a car near the Ellan Vannin Gymnastics Club in Douglas.

Alan Collister released a written statement at the conclusion of the inquest.
