An 18 year-old is due to appear in court today (Tues) following a stabbing in Farmhill in Douglas last month.
Jack Marshal Bridson, of Anagh Coar, is charged with wounding with intent after an incident in the early hours of November the first in Hilltop Rise.
Seventeen year-old Owen Plaskett was stabbed seven times in the incident.
Meanwhile, four men from England are also due to appear after an attempted kidnap on an Island resident.
The men, who are from Burnley and Bradford respectively, have all been charged with detaining another man during the first weekend of November with the ‘intention of sending him out of the island’.
They will appear before the Deputy High Bailiff.
