A second man arrested and facing assault charges
A man suffered significant but non-life threatening injuries during an altercation in Douglas on Friday (13 August).
Police are investigating the incident involving two men which took place at around 6.20pm outside the pharmacy on Windsor Road that evening.
One man suffered serious facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment before later being released.
Meanwhile, the second man was arrested and is now facing assault charges - he will appear in court tomorrow (16 August).
The constabulary adds a number of people witnessed what happened and some have provided details to authorities.
CID is now asking anyone who was in the area at the time and hasn't spoken with Police to come forward.

Meanwhile, officers are also urging residents not to speculate on social media about the circumstances of the incident.
