CCTV footage contradicts allegation
A Douglas man's walked free from court after prosecutors dropped assault charges against him.
Forty-year-old Anthony John Donegan of Princes Road appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse, after denying assault at a previous hearing.
Prosecution advocate Barry Swain told the court the case had been reviewed and CCTV footage contradicted the allegation.
He offered no evidence and magistrates dismissed the case.
