A former kindergarten worker who indecently assaulted a three-year-old child will be sentenced at Douglas Courthouse this afternoon.
Andrew James Maddrell, who lives at an address off Ballanard Road in Douglas, pleaded guilty to the offence last month and has been in custody since.
Twenty-four year-old Maddrell used to work for the Sandcastles nursery on Douglas Promenade.
He had earlier pleaded guilty to possessing 232 indecent images of children.
They were discovered following his arrest and had nothing to do with the nursery nor any child associated with the nursery.
Maddrell is due to be sentenced by Deemster Montgomerie at 2pm.
