Wrong foot led to bail breach
A Douglas man has found himself behind bars, just a day after appearing in court.
Richard Alan Kewley only appeared before the deputy high bailiff on Tuesday, charged with harassment.
He was then arrested yesterday afternoon for breaching his bail conditions as he walked home.
The 56 year old said he 'wasn't fully aware' his conditions prevented him from being in certain parts of town.
Magistrates accepted he had not attempted to contact the complainant in the case and renewed his bail until June 7.
