Raymond French admits causing death of daughter by dangerous driving
A manslaughter charge against a Ballaugh man has been dropped.
Raymond French had been due to stand trial next week in connection with a head-on crash which killed his 10-year-old daughter, Alexis.
However, the 46-year-old has now pleaded guilty to causing her death by dangerous driving in a collision with a bus near Castletown in October 2013.
He also admits causing serious bodily harm to the driver of the bus, Donald Richard Faragher, by dangerous driving.
French will be sentenced on October 30th.
