UK pressure group spokesman to speak at HEAR launch
A UK pressure group spokesman says Manx abortion law is progressive.
Peter Williams from Right to Life will speak at the inaugural meeting of new Isle of Man campaign group Humanity & Equality in Abortion Reform - or HEAR.
It was established in response to pro-choice lobby group CALM, which is aimed at campaigning for improvements to the law.
Mr Williams will be joined by Lord Alton of Liverpool at a public meeting in the Manx Legion Club in Douglas at 6:30pm tonight.
He believes the UK needs to catch up with legislation here, not the other way around:
