Black hole described as 'monster'
A Manx astronomer says the first image of a black hole in space, is an historic moment.
Howard Parkin of AstroManx says as well as an incredible feat, the image also proves Einstein was right.
The black hole measures 40 billion kilometres across - three million times the size of the Earth - and has been described by scientists as "a monster".
Mr Parkin says it has many implications:
MHK given leave to introduce free period products bill
Mountain Road closed due to RTC
Local authorities ask LegCo to 'protect democracy'
Constabulary launches Operation Uplift, tells road users 'make sure you're bright at night'
