Black hole described as 'monster'
A Manx astronomer says the first image of a black hole in space, is an historic moment.
Howard Parkin of AstroManx says as well as an incredible feat, the image also proves Einstein was right.
The black hole measures 40 billion kilometres across - three million times the size of the Earth - and has been described by scientists as "a monster".
Mr Parkin says it has many implications:
Michelle Mone-linked PPE firm liquidated and unlikely to repay £148m
Yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping
Proposed new laws would support homeless people on the Isle of Man
DESC chief officer to retire in 2026
