Over £28,000 provided by Dormant Asset Fund
Manx BirdLife has been awarded funding to recruit a new warden.
They have been given £28,618 from the Dormant Asset Fund, managed by Manx Lottery Trust.
The charity says the role will provide crucial support; increasing habitat management and wildlife monitoring efforts.
It adds the warden will also support the Island's National Ornithological Database, ensuring that bird data is collated, verified and shared to support national and local conservation efforts.
