Manx-born panda relocated to English zoo

Aria - the daughter of kush - has moved to Birmingham

Curraghs Wildlife Park says it's ‘proud to have made a difference’ after relocating an endangered red panda to an English zoo.

Two-year-old Aria – the son of Kush and Sara – is starting her new life at the Birmingham Conservation Park as part of an international breeding programme.

It’s hoped she’ll be paired with a male panda at the zoo called Monium.

Team leader Sarah Teare-Kermeen said: "There are always mixed emotions when an animal moves on.

"We have loved and cared for Aria since day one and we are all very proud that she will now play an important role in the conservation of her species."
