Manx candidate sought for cancer research studentship

Island charity teaming up with university to provide opportunity

Prospective PhD students from the Isle of Man are being encouraged to take up an opportunity in cancer research.

The Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association is collaborating with the University of Liverpool to offer a three-year studentship.

It’s expected to start between October this year and January 2022, and although open to applicants across the UK it's hoped the successful individual could be from the Island.

Malcolm Clague is the IOM Anti-Cancer Association chair:

The deadline for applications is tomorrow (17 September).

Anyone interested in applying should have graduated with a BSc, MSc or BMedSci in an appropriate field. More details on the course and its requirements are available HERE.
