Manx Care has condemned what it describes as 'personal, named attacks' targeting members of its leadership team on social media, labelling it 'bullying'.
The board members expressed their full support for the executive team, reaffirming that Manx Care has a zero-tolerance policy towards such behaviour.
They praised the senior managers for doing an 'extremely challenging job' in 'extremely challenging circumstances'.
Chair Wendy Reid emphasised that public servants should be treated with 'respect' at the very least:
On 26 September, Manx Care's Clinical Directors issued a joint statement:
"Since the inception of Manx Care the CEO Teresa Cope and the Board of Directors have been working to deliver the Mandate and the Sir Jonathan Michael’s recommendations.
"The Clinical Directors express their full support for the CEO of Manx Care Teresa Cope and the Board of Directors in achieving these outcomes.
"We look forward to working with Teresa and the Board to continue the progress and achievements made so far with Manx Care."
