Chief executive faces scrutiny on Mannin Line

The chief executive of Manx Care says the body is taking steps to improve the reliability and capacity of ear, nose and throat (ENT) services.

It comes as waiting times for the specialty have been under increasing scrutiny from patients.

Appearing on Manx Radio's Mannin Line programme earlier this week, Teresa Cope was asked what the healthcare body is doing to reduce wait times.

She says the organisation recognises that ENT has sustained 'some very specific pressures' throughout the lifetime of Manx Care, but confirmed they are undergoing a comprehensive validation of the waiting lists:
