Island well-placed to deal with challenges
The Island's next Bishop has praised its 'close knit' community, ahead of taking up the role.
It was confirmed by Downing Street this morning (Thu) that the Venerable Peter Andrew Eagles - currently the Archdeacon for the British Army - will assume the religious high post later this year.
He believes the challenges facing the Isle of Man are 'universal', from creating a fairer society to addressing modern issues like Brexit.
But, he says we are particularly well placed to deal with them
