Education packs inspired by Culture Vannin's 'Calendar Traditions'
New classroom resources are being introduced into primary schools across the Island to highlight the importance of Manx culture.
It's the brainchild of the Department of Education and Culture Vannin, who have been working together for more than a year to produce the new material.
The resources are based around Culture Vannin's Calendar Traditions and can be molded to add snippets of Manx heritage into any subject.
Jo Callister from the education department says people don't realise how much focus there is in schools on the Island's history:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
