Manx language choir to perform at Royal Irish Academy

Caarjyn Cooidjagh heading to Dublin next month

The founder of a Manx Gaelic choir hopes the group's upcoming performance in Dublin will resonate with those who speak other Celtic languages.

Caarjyn Cooidjagh has been invited to sing at the Royal Irish Academy in September.

It comes after a chance meeting with a professor from the academy at an event last year.

Annie Kissack is optimistic those watching won't need to be fluent in Manx to understand their songs:
