Teacher pens Manx handbook for all ages
Breaking the Manx language down into bite sized chunks is how an author is hoping to make it easier for anyone to learn.
Adrian Cain, is a teacher at the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh, the Manx-language primary school in St John’s, and he's written a Manx Gaelic Handbook.
It's called Cre ren oo jiu - which means What did you do today?
Adrian is also a former Manx language officer and an advocate for making Manx accessible to everyone.
He says while the book was written with parents and carers of Bunscoill pupils in mind, it's a resource for everyone.
Alongside Juan Christian, a Project Officer for Mooinjer Veggey, Adrian also co-hosts a podcast helping to bring the language to life in fun and practical ways.
