Pat Costain was recognised in the King's New Year Honours
Becoming the Captain of the Parish of Patrick was a career highlight for one of those recognised in the New Year Honours.
Patricia Costain was made an MBE for her outstanding contribution to public service and charitable causes on the Isle of Man.
She's also chair and a trustee of Peel Charity shop, which has raised more than £2 million since 2001.
