They'll be sworn in to give them powers in London
Police officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary will travel to London to support the Metropolitan Police during the state funeral of Her Majesty the Queen.
Forces from across the United Kingdom, and the Crown Dependencies, have been asked to assist with the commitment as part of the request.
Manx officers will be sworn in as UK police constables which will give them powers to undertake their duties in the capital.
Originally 15 officers were due to travel but that's now been reduced to five with the remaining 10 stood down earlier today.
In a statement the Isle of Man Constabulary adds:
“Following a formal mutual aid request Chief Constable Gary Roberts QPM has approved the deployment of Isle of Man Constabulary officers to support the policing of Her Majesty’s funeral in London.
Mutual aid police officers are deployed in London, under the command and control of the Metropolitan Police, to keep people safe as part of UK policing’s response to the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
Forces from across the United Kingdom, including the Crown Dependencies, have been asked to assist in the national policing commitment.
