Jewish community and Manx church call for all victims of genocides to be honoured
Manx residents are being asked to display a candle in a window at 8pm tonight to remember those who've died as a result of genocide.
Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, which remembers victims of the Nazis in World War II.
The Island's Jewish community and the Manx church hope the community will come together to honour those who died in the Holocaust, but also those impacted by other genocides.
Bishop of Sodor and Man Tricia Hillas says genocide remains a concern in today's society:
Plans for silt disposal at former mine rejected
MUA reviewing plans for floating solar scheme
Yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping issued
