Manx star 'honoured' to win money for local charity

Sam Barks appeared on ITV last weekend

West End star Samantha Barks says she was 'honoured' to win £15,000 for an Isle of Man charity.

The Manx actor appeared on Celebrity Catchphrase on Saturday evening (30 December).

She chose to play for the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group in the special festive episode.

Commenting on Instagram, Sam said: "It meant so much to me to play for this phenomenal Manx charity."

In a nod to Manx local business, she also noted she was wearing a dress from Claire Christian couture.

It's not the first time the singer has championed the brand, which closed its doors in April last year.
